Draft, pending legal review
This has been written against what the product genuinely collects and does, and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer qualified in Indian data protection law. Placeholders in square brackets are facts only Kaziyo can fill in. Do not rely on this as advice.

The short version
The public parts of Kaziyo set no cookies at all. Not analytics, not advertising, not preferences. This page, the careers pages our customers publish, the job application form and the policy acknowledgement pages all work without storing anything on your device.
That is why there is no cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to, and a banner asking you to accept cookies that do not exist would be theatre.
What is set once you sign in
Kaziyo is invite only and most people reading this will never sign in. If you are an administrator with an account, signing in sets session cookies through Clerk, our authentication provider. These are strictly necessary: they are what keeps you signed in between pages, and the application cannot work without them.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
__session | Clerk | Your signed session. Strictly necessary |
__client_uat | Clerk | Records when you last signed in or out, so the app knows whether to try. Strictly necessary |
[CONFIRM THIS LIST AGAINST CLERK'S CURRENT COOKIE DOCUMENTATION BEFORE PUBLISHING, AND RE-CHECK WHEN THE CLERK SDK IS UPGRADED.]
What we do not do
- No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no PostHog, nothing.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels.
- No third-party scripts on any public page.
- No local storage or session storage used to track you.
If that changes, this page changes first, and a consent mechanism appears before any non-essential cookie is set.
Server logs
Separately from cookies, our host records ordinary request logs including IP addresses. That is described in the privacy policy.
